We are seeking a Technical Sales Support professional to join our client's team and support their ongoing success in delivering high-quality solutions to their clients. This role will primarily focus on preparing detailed technical proposals, handling inbound customer inquiries, and ensuring client needs are met effectively. If you have a strong technical understanding, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound customer calls and inquiries, providing timely and accurate information
- Analyse customer needs and recommend suitable solutions by reviewing project specifications and site drawings
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information and ensure client requirements are met
- Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations using Microsoft Office, Sage 200, and Salesforce
- Create technical arrangement drawings using SolidWorks (training provided if needed)
- Develop a deep understanding of client requirements, specifications, and applications
- Produce detailed product information that highlights technical aspects, benefits, and applications for customers
Required Experience & Skills:
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand engineering concepts related to safety-critical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, product catalogs, pricing books, regulations, and industry standards
- Technical or engineering qualifications are preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficiency with technical drawing software (SolidWorks is preferred, or equivalent experience with similar systems)
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and industry events
