We are supporting our client in hiring a Financial Accountant to join their Group Consolidation Team. This role will help manage monthly and annual consolidations and support international finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support group consolidations and issue consolidation timetables
- Coordinate data uploads and assist subsidiaries with queries and training
- Manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments (IFRS 3, 5, 16)
- Maintain consolidation scope, investment registers, and capital structure entries
- Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors
- Complete consolidation journals, balance sheet reviews, and ad‑hoc finance tasks
- Provide occasional cover for the Consolidation Finance Manager
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with consolidation experience
- Strong IFRS knowledge and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with pension accounting is beneficial
- Proficient in Office 365
