We are supporting a highly successful Manchester-based business in the search for a Senior Sales Manager to lead a team of Sales Team Managers and drive exceptional commercial performance. The Opportunity

As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing Sales Team Managers and their teams within a busy contact centre sales operation. You will create a high-performance culture where coaching, accountability and customer outcomes sit at the heart of everything you do. Working alongside the wider senior leadership team, driving sales performance, improving processes and inspiring your teams to consistently exceed targets while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of Sales Team Managers and their sales teams.
  • Drive performance against key sales and operational KPIs.
  • Deliver effective coaching and development to maximise individual and team potential.
  • Identify skills gaps and implement training initiatives to improve performance.
  • Create a positive, engaging and high-energy sales culture.
  • Use sales methodologies and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure customers remain at the centre of every decision and interaction.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership colleagues to share best practice and achieve business objectives.

About You

  • Significant experience leading Sales Team Managers within a high-volume, telephone-based sales environment.
  • A proven track record of driving sales performance and delivering against ambitious targets.
  • Strong coaching and people development capabilities.
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire, motivate and influence others.
  • A customer-first mindset combined with strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
