We are looking for a Scrum Master / Delivery Lead to join our well-established client. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong project management experience who is ready to step into a delivery lead role.
Role Overview: As part of this role, you will be supporting the efficient delivery of work through our client’s application support teams. The key responsibility is to manage resources effectively, prioritise tasks, and oversee the release of work within these teams. The role holder will collaborate closely with a team of IT professionals to ensure smooth delivery of tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, particularly in managing the delivery of work for technical IT teams, including areas such as Applications, SAP, and Data projects.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and manage the workflow within application support teams by applying Agile methodologies like Scrum and Lean Kanban.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT technical projects, ensuring thorough planning, proactive risk management, and strong collaboration with stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analysing past challenges, extracting lessons learned, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
- Conduct planning, stand-ups, resource management, lessons learned, and playbacks.
- Tracking, reporting, and managing risks and issues.
- Plan development, tracking, and management.
- Escalating issues and risks as necessary.
- Facilitation of Technical Design and decision-making processes.
- Managing Cyber Risk Reduction throughout project delivery.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience in Agile project management (Scrum, Lean Kanban, or other similar frameworks).
- Demonstrated experience in managing the delivery of technical IT projects.
- Strong skills in coaching, facilitating discussions, and clearly communicating complex technical concepts.
- Expertise in Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively handle competing priorities.
The Offer:
- Hybrid working – 2 Days in Sunderland, 1 in Leeds (or vice versa).
