We’re looking for a technically versatile IT Engineer to support our dynamic IT environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and OS issues across Windows and Apple devices.
- Build, configure, and manage desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Support and administer Microsoft Server environments, virtualisation platforms (VMware), and cloud services (Azure).
- Manage Active Directory and Azure Entra ID, including user lifecycle and access controls.
- Support network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks (Cisco/Meraki experience is a plus).
- Assist with backup, recovery, patching, vulnerability management, and general IT security practices.
- Contribute to IT projects, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong IT background with hands‑on experience in IT support, infrastructure, or operations.
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Azure Entra ID, and end‑user device management.
- Exposure to networking concepts, VMware, cloud services, and IT security principles.
- Analytical problem‑solver with excellent communication skills for technical and non‑technical users.
- UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites.
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Experience with VPNs, firewalls, or modern endpoint management.
- Worked in agile/project-based environments.
