About the Role
We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Account Executive to own the full sales cycle within a cybersecurity business. This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable generating their own leads, qualifying opportunities, running product demos, and closing deals, often with C-level and senior security stakeholders. You will be selling a technically sophisticated cybersecurity solution, so confidence, credibility, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear business value are essential. This role represents a great opportunity for someone looking to transition into tech or cybersecurity sales as we are looking for strong sales fundamentals, confidence, and the ability to learn. Full product training and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business through outbound prospecting (cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking)
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to identify high-value opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through to close
- Deliver engaging product demos to senior decision-makers, including CISO, CIO, CTO, and other C-level stakeholders
- Understand customer security challenges and position solutions accordingly
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Accurately forecast revenue and report on sales activity
- Work closely with technical, product, and leadership teams to support deals
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a full-cycle / 360 sales role
- Strong outbound sales skills and confidence picking up the phone
- Comfortable presenting and demoing to senior and executive-level stakeholders
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-starter mentality with strong ownership of results
- Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts in a commercial way
Nice to Have
- Previous experience selling cybersecurity solutions
- Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise customers
- Knowledge of common security frameworks, compliance, or risk-based selling
