We are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Manager to support the Project Manager in the day-to-day delivery of construction projects. The role focuses on ensuring all site activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme, budget, and contractual requirements. The Site Manager will play a key role in promoting a positive Health & Safety culture, supervising site operatives, managing materials and plant, and carrying out regular inspections to maintain high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operational duties of the project from inception through to completion
- Manage and supervise on-site activities, including labour, subcontractors, materials, and workmanship
- Monitor quality control and ensure work is delivered in line with specifications and standards
- Carry out risk assessments and manage site safety, promoting best practice at all times
- Foster a positive Health & Safety culture across the site team
- Liaise with procurement teams to support effective material purchasing and cost control
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide regular progress updates and site reports
- Liaise with residents and relevant third parties as required
