We are excited to be recruiting a Senior People Manager for a well-established Tech Business with offices in Newcastle and globally recognised as a top 100 place to work. They are looking for a superstar Senior People Manager to join their team in a stand-alone role to elevate their employer brand and help them build the most talented workforce in the industry.
What Youll Be Doing:
- In this highly autonomous, generalist role, you will be the driving force behind HR operations and people strategy.
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle, partner with hiring managers, and design an unforgettable onboarding experience for new hires.
- Champion workplace culture by managing bi-annual employee engagement surveys and leading the follow-up actions with the leadership team.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, guiding them on performance management, L&D initiatives, and team development.
- Oversee monthly payroll, drive the annual salary review process, manage HR policies, and report on key people and CSR metrics to the Senior Leadership Team.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5+ years of generalist HR experience at a Senior People Manager level, ideally within an SME environment.
- CIPD (or equivalent) qualification and have a sharp, up-to-date understanding of UK employment legislation.
- Exemplary communication skills, a proactive "self-starter" mentality, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly.
- Global People experience is desirable but an advantage.
