An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HDR Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Newcastle. This firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality legal services and is known for its supportive, collaborative culture. With continued growth in their Housing Disrepair team, they are now looking to expand with the addition of a talented solicitor who can manage a caseload of HDR matters from inception through to resolution.
The Role: You will handle a varied caseload of Housing Disrepair claims, acting on behalf of claimants. The role will involve managing files independently, progressing claims efficiently, and delivering excellent client care throughout.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing a full caseload of Housing Disrepair matters
- Conducting legal research and drafting relevant documentation
- Liaising with clients, experts, and third parties
- Negotiating settlements and preparing cases for litigation where required
- Ensuring compliance with relevant protocols and procedures
- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent), or an experienced fee earner with strong litigation experience
