We are recruiting on behalf of a well regarded law firm seeking a capable and detail oriented Legal Administrator to join their busy Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity to support a team of experienced solicitors and paralegals, providing essential secretarial and administrative assistance across a variety of matters including wills, probate, trusts, and land registry applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to Private Client fee earners
  • Assist in the preparation of documents for wills, probate applications, and trust matters
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence with clients and third parties
  • Handle submissions to HM Land Registry and track application progress
  • Maintain accurate and well-organised client records and files
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Requirements:

  • Previous legal administrative or secretarial experience, ideally within a Private Client setting
  • Good understanding of trusts, wills, probate processes, and land registration from an admin support perspective
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with a professional and discreet approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems

Desirable:

  • Experience with digital case management tools
  • Knowledge of GDPR and legal compliance procedures in a law firm setting
