We are working with an excellent client based in Scotland who are looking to bolster their technical team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience across Microsoft Azure / Active Directory and Cisco networking who enjoys solving problems, supporting users and helping improve infrastructure in a growing business. You will be part of a collaborative technology team supporting more than 600 employees across our manufacturing and office environments. The role combines 3rd line support, infrastructure improvement and security, working closely with internal teams and external technology partners. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their experience across systems, networking and cloud while playing a key role in an upcoming network infrastructure upgrade programme over the next 18 months.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 3rd line support across network, infrastructure and cloud systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Entra ID and core networking infrastructure
- Support and improve Cisco network environments including switches, wireless and firewalls
- Work with internal teams and external partners to strengthen security, performance and reliability across the IT estate
Key requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in an infrastructure, systems or network support role
- Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory / Azure Entra ID and Cisco networking
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car for travel between local sites
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience with VMware, Veeam or wider infrastructure platforms would be beneficial but is not essential.
