We are seeking an experienced and proactive Family Legal Secretary to join a busy, supportive team.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside and support a team of four family lawyers in a dynamic and professional environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of client matters and maintaining our high standards of service and compliance.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the fee earners
  • Audio and copy typing of correspondence and legal documents
  • Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and maintaining accurate records
  • Opening new client files and ensuring compliance procedures are followed
  • Assisting with case management systems and maintaining up-to-date client information
  • Supporting the team to deliver a high standard of client care at all times

About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in a legal secretarial or assistant role (family law experience desirable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Outlook, case management systems, and digital dictation
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
  • Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
  • Professional, proactive, and committed to providing outstanding client service
