The Specialty division leads the way in underwriting complex and specialist risks across diverse lines, including Professional Indemnity, liability, and other specialty classes. We’re looking for experienced Senior Underwriters who bring technical expertise, commercial awareness, and the drive to grow portfolios in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
As a Senior Underwriter you will:
- Underwrite new and renewal Specialty lines, combining technical expertise with commercial judgement
- Analyse market trends, portfolio performance, and emerging risks to shape strategy
- Have strong experience across one or more Specialty lines, including Professional Indemnity, liability, or commercial property
- Be a confident trader with commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Optional: relevant insurance qualifications (DIP CII, ACII)
