NRG are currently partnering with a growing, technology‑led organisation that is entering a key phase of its platform evolution and continuing to invest in its engineering capability. They are seeking a well‑rounded DevOps Engineer who can contribute across the full platform lifecycle, from infrastructure design through to deployment and ongoing optimisation.
This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, high‑performing engineering environment with strong standards and a focus on continuous improvement. You will play a key role in shaping and supporting a modern Azure‑based platform.
Key responsibilities:- Design and deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure
- Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, ARM templates, and YAML
- Build, configure, and support Kubernetes environments, including Helm‑based deployments
- Monitor platform performance, ensuring reliability and availability
- Contribute to Agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban) and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven experience working across Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes in a practical, hands‑on capacity
- A strong systems‑thinking approach, with the ability to understand and manage end‑to‑end platform architecture
- Solid understanding of cloud networking and security principles (e.g. Network Security Groups, Key Vaults)
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive improvements
