We’re looking for a detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Handler to support the management of client portfolios, ensuring high levels of service and retention. You’ll work closely with Account Executives, insurers, and clients to administer policies and handle day-to-day queries. The successful candidate will have a track record supporting varied cross-sector portfolios and will be comfortable handling complex commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across various sectors
- Process renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations
- Liaise with insurers to obtain terms and negotiate cover where required
- Prepare and issue policy documentation accurately and on time
- Handle client queries promptly, providing clear and compliant advice
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems and ensure data integrity
- Support Account Executives with client reviews and presentations
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial insurance
- Strong understanding of commercial lines products (e.g. property, cyber, motor fleet, trade, construction and financial lines)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Working knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance standards
- Cert CII (or working towards) preferred
