Our client is seeking an EL PL Portal Claims Handler to join their team in Newcastle. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break (35 hours per week).

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of low-value personal injury claims within the EL/PL portal.
  • Reviewing initial claim information and verifying key details.
  • Monitoring and recording important dates, including completing Claims Notification Forms within the EL/PL Portal.
  • Commissioning and liaising with medical and other expert witnesses.
  • Gathering and valuing evidence for additional claims such as loss of earnings and care assistance.
  • Handling telephone inquiries from clients and third parties promptly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience handling EL/PL claims.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
