We are seeking an experienced and motivated AssocRICS Residential Surveyor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a residential surveyor who enjoys autonomy, flexible diary management, and delivering high-quality professional advice to clients and lenders.
The successful candidate will undertake mortgage valuations alongside RICS Home Surveys (Levels 1–3), producing accurate and compliant reports while managing their own regional workload from home.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct internal and external residential property inspections
- Identify structural movement, damp, defects, and maintenance issues
- Complete Mortgage Valuations in accordance with lender requirements
- Produce high-quality RICS Home Surveys including:
- Level 1 Condition Reports
- Level 2 HomeBuyer Reports
- Level 3 Building Surveys
- Assess property values using comparable evidence and local market knowledge
- Deliver clear, concise, and professional reports within agreed SLAs
- Ensure full compliance with RICS standards, Health & Safety regulations, and internal QA procedures
- Maintain excellent client communication and professional standards at all times
- Effectively manage a home-based diary and regional inspection schedule
- AssocRICS qualified
- Strong understanding of residential construction and building pathology
- Experience identifying common residential property defects
- Ability to produce accurate, detailed, and commercially sound reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Self-motivated with strong organisational and diary management skills
- Experience completing Level 2 and Level 3 surveys independently
- Previous lender panel valuation experience
- Knowledge of regional residential property markets
