We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to join our growing commercial insurance team in Southend-on-Sea. You will be responsible for managing and expanding a book of clients across a range of commercial classes, including Fleet, Contractors, Liability, Professional Indemnity (PI), and Business Combined policies.

  • Take ownership of an inherited portfolio of commercial clients.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships to maximise retention and growth.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within the local market.
  • Advise clients on appropriate cover across Fleet, Contractors, Liability, PI, and Business Combined.
  • Work closely with Account Handlers to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Develop a pipeline through networking, referrals, and local business engagement.

Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar client-facing role in commercial insurance is required, along with strong technical knowledge across Fleet, Contractors, Liability, PI, and Business Combined. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential.
