An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Driver to work at our Manchester depot. Our fleet includes a range of waste handling trucks, commercial vehicles, and plant machinery. The HGV Driver will be responsible for working from the depot and delivering vehicles while also being responsible for the valeting of vehicles to a high standard and maintaining cleanliness of the workshop.

Established in 1996, we’ve supported our valued customers to rationalise and decarbonise their fleets, save money and improve efficiency by reducing ‘Vehicle Off Road’ (VOR) time.
What candidate are we looking for?
- Experience of working in a similar role; you could have worked as a HGV Driver, Depot Driver, Class 2 Driver etc.
- Class 2 licence is essential
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
What will be your duties?
- The HGV Driver will be responsible for the delivery and collection of HGV vehicles as well as taking vehicles to HGV testing station
- Completion of paperwork where necessary
- Valeting of light commercial and HGV vehicles and steam cleaning underside of MOT vehicles
- Inspections of vehicles for damage / walk around checks along with daily checks on runner vehicles, ensuring these are recorded
- Cleaning workshop and yard as necessary
- Collecting parts for the workshop when required
- Preparing vehicles for hire
- Willing to work overtime as and when required
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Other duties as required to assist with the professional operations of the Business.
