Who will you be working for?
NRG Riverside is the UK’s largest municipal and specialist fleet hire company, we provide specialist vehicles on short and long-term hire, a range of vehicle maintenance packages and we offer a large portfolio of high-quality used vehicles for sale. NRG Riverside has the skills, knowledge, and expertise to support all your operational needs. Established in 1996, we’ve supported our valued customers to rationalise and decarbonise their fleets, save money and improve efficiency by reducing ‘Vehicle Off Road’ (VOR) time.
What candidate are we looking for?

  • Experience within a similar role such as a HGV Valeter, Commercial Vehicle Valeter, Commercial Vehicle Labourer, HGV Labourer.
  • Experience working in a commercial vehicle / HGV workshop environment.
  • Municipal vehicle/equipment operation experience (Preferable)
  • Mechanical knowledge (Preferable)
  • LGV licence (Preferable).
What will be your duties?
  • As the HGV Valeter duties include cleaning commercial vehicles/ HGVs to a standard fit for inspection, MOT or for hire purposes.
  • To carry out cleaning duties within the workshop/ engineering areas to help maintain a safe working environment.
  • Keep yard/ car park areas clean and tidy.
  • Keep wash bay areas clean and tidy, report any misuse or damage to wash bay equipment.
  • Work within allotted timescales.
  • Always ensure efficient use of washing/cleaning materials reducing waste.
