We are seeking an Apprentice Administrator to work within our Widnes depot. The role involves actively working towards a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration and, with support, efficiently and effectively undertaking, implementing and managing all administrative tasks related to the workshop, technicians, and customers.
NRG Riverside is the UK's largest municipal and specialist fleet hire company, providing specialist vehicles on short and long-term hire, vehicle maintenance packages, and a portfolio of high-quality used vehicles for sale. Established in 1996, we support customers to rationalise and decarbonise fleets, save money and improve efficiency.
What candidate are we looking for?
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise
- A driven and flexible attitude
- Interest in the vehicle industry is a plus
- Experience from within a workshop environment is advantageous but not essential
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Computer literate, comfortable with Microsoft Office
- Car driving licence (preferred but not essential)

- Actively participate in qualification and studies
- Ensure Job Cards are opened for scheduled work and non-scheduled work
- Advise workshop of vehicle arrival and record date/time of arrival and departure
- Ensure inspection records
