Apply for HGV Technician - Nights at NRG Riverside in Leeds, ENG, GB. This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. HGV Technician- Nights £50 667.76 + Bonus Leeds 44 hours per week Monday - Thursday 18:00-06:00, with a 1 hour unpaid lunch.
What will you be doing?
- As a HGV Technician you will be responsible for servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs / commercial vehicles; diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs, as well as carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- You will also be responsible for attending breakdowns, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, as well as Tacho calibrations, repairs and wheel alignment.
- You will prepare vehicles for MOT and carry out commercial vehicle / HGV MOT inspections, while makings sure paperwork completed and up to date.
What are we looking for?
- A HGV technical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
- Experience as a HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Engineer or Fleet Engineer
- Experience with RCVs or municipal vehicles would be a bonus.
- Experience with tacho and wheel alignment as well as commercial vehicle repairs
- A Class 2 licence would be preferred
- A good understanding of Health & Safety
