We’re looking for an experienced HGV Driver (Class 1) to join our growing team at Leeds.

HGV driver you will are required to carry out the delivery and collection of internal and external customers vehicles ranging from commercial vehicles, waste handling trucks to units & trailers . You will also be responsible for assisting with the preparation of vehicles to a high standard to include completion of the necessary paperwork for the rental department .

What will you be doing?

The HGV Driver will be responsible for the delivery and collection of HGV vehicles including delivery and collection of customer vehicles for maintenance repairs

Present internal and external vehicles to ATF for mot testing as well as assisting with parts deliveries and collections when required

Completion of associated rental agreements & supporting documentation

Assist with the cleaning & preparation of all vehicles for rental as well as inspecting and recording vehicle damage.

Keeping the hire desk updated on a regular basis of job completion.

What are we looking for?

You'll ideally have:

• HGV / commercial vehicle driving experience – ideally from a similar role such as HGV Driver; Class 1 Driver; Depot Driver
• Experience working aroundmunicipal vehicles is a big plus.
• Astrong communicator who works well with different teams and takes feedback on board.
• Confident with the completion of paperwork.
• Willing to be flexible with hours catering for the needs of the business when needed.
• Willing to work overtime as and when required.
