About the Role
As a Telephone Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind generating new business opportunities within your assigned region. This is a fully office-based role where you will work closely with an experienced regional manager, learning their approach, gaining product knowledge, and developing your own pipeline. Key Responsibilities
- Drive outbound sales activity to build strong relationships with intermediaries and brokers
- Manage and grow your own regional portfolio, working alongside an experienced senior BDM
- Deliver a consultative, service-led sales approach with focus on quality, professionalism, and reliability
- Maximise every opportunity by understanding client needs, providing solutions, and promoting the full offering
- Maintain a strong and consistent call volume to build pipeline momentum
- Support brokers through the full lifecycle of their applications
- Represent the brand with professionalism, credibility, and confidence in every interaction
- Contribute to team targets, KPIs, and overall regional success
Base salary: £27,500
Year 1 OTE: £35,000–£37,500

Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year of outbound, telephone-based, or service-led sales experience
- Confident communicator able to deliver a premium sales conversation

- Open to backgrounds such as estate agency, fintech sales, lead generation, contact centre sales, or similar
- Strong people skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
