Decision-making is pragmatic, credit-led not sales-led, and BDMs are trusted to operate autonomously in their regions. The business is investing heavily in growth, infrastructure and people, creating genuine long-term opportunity for ambitious BDMs.
This is a field-based Business Development Manager position covering South West England, South Wales and the Midlands, responsible for originating new lending opportunities through brokers, introducers and professional referral partners. You will be selling a full suite of bridging, refurbishment and residential-led development finance, working closely with credit and case management to maximise conversions while maintaining strong portfolio quality.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage a strong introducer network
- Originate lending opportunities across bridging, refurb and residential development exit
- Structure transactions from enquiry through to offer
- Work collaboratively with underwriting and credit
- Manage a live pipeline, prioritising quality, speed and delivery
- Represent the lender professionally at meetings, events and industry networking
- Maintain strong market intelligence across competitors, pricing and broker sentiment
