The Firm

Our client is a respected London‑based law firm with a strong and growing presence in real estate finance, secured lending, commercial property, and corporate work. The firm benefits from a consistently strong workflow, supported by a healthy pipeline of lender, borrower, and investor mandates across domestic and cross‑border transactions. This is a business that genuinely understands how to support its Partners—commercially, operationally, and culturally.

The Role

This is a Partner‑level appointment within the Real Estate Finance practice, focused on advising lenders, borrowers, and investors on a wide range of secured real estate financing matters. Key Responsibilities

  • Advising banks, alternative lenders, funds, sponsors, and investors on real estate‑backed lending
  • Maintaining and growing lender, borrower, investor, and referrer relationships
  • Contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the Real Estate Finance practice
  • Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers where appropriate
  • Playing an active role in business development, profile raising, and client relationship management

Package & Incentives

  • Partner‑level salary circa £120k – £150k (dependent on experience and profile)

  • Strong paralegal and administrative support to maximise billing efficiency
  • Hybrid working model, with circa two days per week in the office

Skills & Experience

  • Typically, 6+ years’ PQE, although quality of practice, client following, and commercial contribution are key
  • A track record of consistent billings, with an existing lender or investor following preferred
  • Commercially minded, relationship‑driven, and quality‑focused
  • Comfortable operating at Partner level within a collaborative, non‑hierarchical environment

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to step into a genuine Partner environment where autonomy is real, expectations are sensible, and growth is built around long‑term value rather than short‑term pressure.
