Key responsibilities- Managing a varied caseload of commercial real estate finance matters from instruction through to completion
- Acting for lenders and borrowers on secured lending transactions, including acquisitions, refinancings and development finance
- Drafting and negotiating finance documents, security packages and ancillary documentation
- Coordinating with real estate, corporate and construction teams on multi‑disciplinary transactions
- Providing clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice to lenders, investors, sponsors and developers
- Liaising with banks, alternative lenders, valuers, agents and other professional advisers
- Ensuring work is delivered to a high technical standard and in line with regulatory requirements
- Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the real estate finance team
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, operating at Senior Associate level
- Strong experience handling commercial real estate finance transactions
- In‑depth understanding of property‑backed lending, security structures and real estate finance documentation
- Ability to manage matters independently with minimal supervision
- Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commercial mindset
- Client‑focused approach with confidence building long‑term professional relationships
