Ready to take your bridging finance career to the next level? This is a rare opportunity to join a well-funded, fast-moving lender that specialises in premium real estate and high-net-worth clients. If you’re sharp, commercially astute, and thrive on structuring deals others can’t – this one’s for you.
Company Overview: We’re working with a highly regarded and discreetly positioned specialist lender operating at the prime end of the market. With a reputation for speed, certainty and creativity, they fund high-value bridging loans across London, the Southeast, and affluent countryside locations – including the Cotswolds. Their product set is simple, competitive and effective: a bespoke HNW offering and a retail line-up of light, heavy refurb and ready-to-sell loans.
About the Role: As a Loan Originator, you’ll be the first point of contact for borrowers and introducers – qualifying enquiries, structuring deals, and working closely with credit to ensure smooth execution. You’ll be comfortable dissecting opportunities quickly, asking the right questions, and bringing clarity to complexity. Your relationships will span brokers, private banks, developers, accountants and landowners, and your focus will be on quality, not just volume.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and structure high-value bridging loans from a range of introducers
- Qualify enquiries thoroughly to ensure strong deal flow and conversion
- Present transactions to credit with clear, structured analysis
- Maintain and grow relationships across private banks, broker networks, developers and other intermediaries
- Track market trends and competitor movements to stay ahead
- Collaborate closely with internal teams from underwriting through to completion
Package:
- Competitive Salary + Commission
- Hybrid working (London office)
- Clear progression opportunities
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in bridging or property-backed lending
- Strong understanding of real estate, ideally including high-net-worth and prime property
- Excellent deal structuring, analytical and negotiation skills
- Experience working in a lender structuring large ticket deals but not essential
- Proven ability to work independently, qualify leads effectively, and manage complex transactions
- A network across brokers, private banks, developers, or similar is highly desirable
- CeMAP or similar qualifications are helpful but not essential
Why Apply?
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a grown-up, entrepreneurial environment where you’re trusted to get on with the job and well rewarded for results. You’ll have access to quality funding, a competitive product set, and a highly supportive team who move quickly on well-packaged deals. If you’re looking to work with a premium client base without the red tape, this is your next step.
