About the Loan Manager Role
As a Bridging Finance Loan Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the business’s post-completion operations, overseeing active loans, managing borrower progress, handling restructures, and ensuring smooth exits. You’ll work closely with credit, legal, and asset management teams to maintain loan performance, resolve issues, and protect the lender’s position. This is a senior-level role with high levels of autonomy, working alongside an established team while mentoring junior colleagues and helping shape best practices.
- Post-completion loan management – monitoring borrower progress and handling extensions or restructures
- Asset recovery & litigation – Protect the lender’s interests in distressed situations
- Exit strategy oversight – proactively engaging with borrowers to structure and support exit plans
- Posting payments & account management – ensuring accurate financial records and loan servicing
- Redemption & settlement – creating redemption statements and overseeing the final stages of loan repayment
