Junior Relationship Manager – Bridging & Development Finance

If you\’re currently working in a telephone-based BDM or BDE role within the specialist lending or banking space – and you’re hungry to move into a regional, face-to-face relationship position – this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

This is a Field Based role, you must be able to cover ONE of the following regions:

East Midlands, North West, North East, or South Coast

We’re working with a well-established and growing specialist lender, known for their flexibility, service-led approach, and deep understanding of short-term property finance. With a solid reputation and a national presence, they’re now looking to expand their front-line team by hiring Junior Relationship Managers in key growth regions across the UK.

About the Junior Relationship Manager Role

As a Junior Relationship Manager, you’ll become the face of the lender in your region – responsible for increasing market visibility, building new broker relationships, and originating high-quality bridging and development finance applications.

You\’ll receive comprehensive training and ongoing support, including mentoring from experienced Relationship Managers and access to legal training, enabling you to step into the role with confidence and quickly make an impact.

  • Generate new loan applications by engaging directly with brokers, introducers and property professionals
  • Proactively increase brand visibility through face-to-face meetings, networking and attending industry events
  • Structure and qualify deals, preparing and submitting complete application packs
  • Work closely with internal teams including underwriting, legal and completions to ensure smooth deal progression
  • Build a strong regional reputation as a trusted, responsive and knowledgeable lender contact
  • Help shape your territory through outbound outreach and local market intelligence
  • £50,000 basic salary + car allowance + uncapped commission
  • Shadowing and support from experienced RMs to fast-track your learning
  • Budget to attend and organise broker events and client entertainment
  • Clear career progression with opportunities to step into a full RM role

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a telephone-based BDM, BDE or internal sales role in specialist lending, banking or property finance
  • Commercially sharp, ambitious and eager to grow into a field-based position
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in face-to-face meetings
  • A proactive approach to relationship building and deal origination
  • Knowledge of bridging and development finance
  • Able to travel throughout ONE of the following regions: East Midlands, North West, North East, or South Coast
