Ready to originate multi-million-pound real estate deals with a lender that plays in the big leagues?
This is a rare opportunity to join a powerhouse in the alternative lending space—a financial institution with deep pockets, a fearless approach to lending, and an ambitious vision to hit £1 billion in UK lending in the coming years. They’ve already funded £500m+ in just 18 months and are looking for high-calibre professionals to drive their growth even further.
About the Company
This lender is part of a globally established financial group with 50+ years of success and billions in funding power. Backed by their own capital and major financial institutions, they don’t chase rates—they focus on big-ticket deals between £2M and £100M, with an average deal size of £15M–£20M.
The UK team is lean but growing fast, with a strategic plan to triple headcount over the next few years. They foster a dynamic, entrepreneurial culture where experience, dealmaking ability, and relationships matter more than title-chasing.
About the Loan Originator Role
You’ll be at the forefront of big-ticket property finance, operating at the highest level of the market. Your job is to build relationships, uncover opportunities, and execute on high-value deals—not to compete in a race to the bottom on rates.
Instead of chasing small deals month after month, you’ll be structuring and executing 5–6 high-value transactions a year, some in the £50M+ range. You’ll be client-facing, in the market, and building meaningful relationships with key brokers, investors, and decision-makers.
Loan Originator Key Responsibilities
- Originate high-value real estate finance transactions (£2M–£100M, with a £15M–£20M sweet spot)
- Develop and maintain relationships with top-tier brokers and property professionals
- Represent the brand at industry events, fostering deep, long-term partnerships
- Work closely with underwriting to assess deals from day one, ensuring only high-quality transactions make it through
- Operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you’re empowered to make real business impact
- Play a key role in the lender’s expansion toward its £1BN+ UK lending goal
Loan Originator Package & Rewards
- Six-figure basic salary for the right individual
- Lucrative commission structure – earning potential well into multiple six figures
- Career growth – be part of an elite team scaling to 30–40 heads
- First-class networking & relationship-building – premium events, high-profile introductions, exclusive industry circles
- Freedom to operate – no micromanagement, no unnecessary red tape, just results
Who We’re Looking For
- Experienced Bridging Finance Business Development Professional – you know how to structure a bridging deal and bring it to completion
- High-level networker – brokers and investors want to meet you when you walk into a room
- Background in challenger banks, specialist lenders, or high-value brokerage
- Confident decision-maker – you’ve worked through market cycles and know what makes a deal work
- Proven ability to originate and execute complex, high-value real estate transactions
- Comfortable operating at the £10M+ deal level – ideally much higher
Why Apply?
- This is NOT your average lender – they’re selective, they’re well-funded, and they’re playing at the top level
- Big-ticket lending – work on fewer but much larger, more impactful deals
- Massive earning potential – the commission structure reflects the deal size
- A business that backs its people – generous budgets for relationship-building, networking, and market positioning
If you’re a serious dealmaker looking for big numbers, real autonomy, and a brand that carries weight, this is the role for you.
