About the Role - Commercial Broker (York-Based)
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Commercial Broker with experience in real estate finance or wider commercial finance to join as a selfâemployed associate. You will handle a broad variety of commercial funding enquiriesâprimarily commercial mortgages, investment property finance, and business loans. You'll have access to warm companyâgenerated leads as well as an established introducer network in the region, managing your time and your business independently, you'll have full control over your pipeline, schedule, and earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on commercial property finance, business loans, and other commercial funding solutions.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, introducers, and lenders.
- Assess client requirements and structure appropriate funding packages.
- Actively develop your pipeline through networking and selfâgenerated activity.
- Represent the organisation professionally and maintain high compliance standards.
- Work collaboratively with internal administrative and marketing support teams.
Package & Commission Structure
- Commission Split: 70/30 on selfâgenerated business, 50/50 on companyâprovided leads
- Earning Potential: Realistic ÂŁ50,000âÂŁ100,000+ OTE
- Support Provided: Administrative assistance & Marketing support, Access to lender network & Warm leads supplied
- Working Model: Selfâemployed, flexible, entrepreneurial
- Location: Based around York, with office attendance 1â2 days per week
Skills & Experience Required
- Background in Commercial Real Estate Finance or Commercial Finance.
- Experience structuring commercial mortgage or business lending solutions.
- A local network of introducers or an existing client portfolio is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, advisory, and relationshipâbuilding skills.
