A well-established private finance brokerage in Central London is looking to appoint a part-time Mortgage & Protection Compliance Manager to support its growing advisory team. This is a flexible, hybrid role offering strong autonomy and the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced industry professionals.

What’s on Offer:

  • 3 days per week
  • Salary: £40,000 pro rata (equivalent to c. £67,000 full-time)
  • Hybrid working: typically 1 day in the office and 2 days remote (initially)

The Role:

This is a hands-on compliance position supporting both mortgage and protection activities across the business. You’ll work closely with advisers and senior stakeholders to ensure regulatory standards are maintained, while overseeing key compliance processes across the firm.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of mortgage advisers
  • KPI reviews and monthly compliance activity
  • File checks and adviser observations where required
  • Conducting Mortgage Adviser 1:1s
  • Managing introducer agreements and onboarding
  • Updating and maintaining compliance policies
  • Quarterly group reporting (e.g. AML and sanctions checks)
  • Managing joiners/leavers and annual Fit & Proper assessments
  • Horizon scanning for regulatory updates
  • Marketing sign-off across digital and social channels
  • Supporting internal and external audits
  • Light-touch oversight of commercial advisers
  • Acting as point of contact for external compliance partners

Requirements:
