About the Business Development Manager Role
This is a field-based Business Development Manager role.
You’ll spend 3 days per week on the road meeting brokers and intermediaries, with 2 days dedicated to admin and deal progression. You’ll be supported by an experienced team, with office-based training during your first two weeks to get you up to speed.
This is a development role — ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience as a Business Development Manager or Business Development Executive in specialist finance or mortgage brokerage ready to take the next step.
Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage broker relationships across the Midlands
- Promote the lender’s product range with clarity and confidence
- Drive new business opportunities through face-to-face and virtual broker meetings
- Handle deal enquiries, structure cases, and work with internal teams to ensure smooth completions
- Track pipeline and hit monthly KPIs and revenue targets
- Represent the brand at networking events, expos, and broker lunches
