We are recruiting on behalf of a well regarded law firm seeking a capable and detail oriented Legal Administrator to join their busy Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity to support a team of experienced solicitors and paralegals, providing essential secretarial and administrative assistance across a variety of matters including wills, probate, trusts, and land registry applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to Private Client fee earners
- Assist in the preparation of documents for wills, probate applications, and trust matters
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence with clients and third parties
- Handle submissions to HM Land Registry and track application progress
- Maintain accurate and well-organised client records and files
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Requirements
- Previous legal administrative or secretarial experience, ideally within a Private Client setting
- Good understanding of trusts, wills, probate processes, and land registration from an admin support perspective
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a professional and discreet approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems
Desirable
- Experience with digital case management tools
- Knowledge of GDPR and legal compliance procedures in a law firm setting
