We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well established organisation within the transport and travel sector for a Digital Marketing Executive to join their commercial team in their Newcastle office. This is a hands on digital marketing role offering the chance to work on high profile campaigns, support revenue growth, and help shape a strong, customer focused brand presence.
The role involves reporting into a senior marketing leader, where you will play a key part in delivering the digital marketing strategy across multiple channels. You will work closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are effective, on brand, and delivering clear ROI. Occasional travel to other regional offices may be required.
Key responsibilities:- Manage and optimise website and app content, ensuring it is engaging, accurate and SEO friendly.
- Support the delivery of creative marketing campaigns and local partnerships.
- Assist in driving revenue through effective digital marketing activity.
- Support PPC, display and SEO campaigns, working closely with a digital agency.
- Lead on email marketing and social media content creation.
- Support PR activity throughout the year.
- Use customer insight, analytics and competitor research to improve performance.
- Monitor campaign performance and ROI, using data to optimise activity.
- Maximise owned digital channels and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Work with third-party agencies to ensure best value and campaign effectiveness.
- Champion brand consistency and customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Degree educated or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of digital channels including SEO, PPC, email and social media.
- Commercially aware with strong analytical skills.
- Confident using data and insight to inform decisions.
- Experience working with agencies and multiple stakeholders.

- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
