A leading architecture practice is currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team. This role will involve delivering high-quality architectural projects with a strong emphasis on technical design, coordination, and project delivery across RIBA Work Stages 3–6.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing comprehensive architectural drawings and coordinated work packages using Revit, from developed design through to construction.
- Preparing detailed technical specifications using NBS Chorus, ensuring compliance with current building regulations and project standards.
- Creating 3D visuals and illustrations to support design development and client presentations.
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate integration of technical and construction information.
- Attending and contributing to Design Team Meetings, working collaboratively with architects, engineers, and consultants to achieve coordinated design solutions.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven proficiency in Revit, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical detail and BIM coordination.
- Experience using NBS Chorus to produce specifications.
- Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and experience working within the RIBA Plan of Work, particularly Stages 3–6.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and problem-solve in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
