We’re currently looking for an experienced Data Lead to join a major digitisation programme on an initial 6-month contract that is OUTSIDE IR35. This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days a week on site - if you cannot do that then please do not apply.
This role will take ownership of the data workstream within a wider transformation initiative focused on implementing a new LIMS platform and building solid data foundations for future growth, efficiency and commercial opportunities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Mapping and assessing existing laboratory data landscapes
- Shaping data architecture to support LIMS implementation
- Defining structured data requirements and standards
- Driving data governance, ownership and compliance
- Supporting the design of data for future digital products and analytics
- Leading the data workstream end‑to‑end, including risks, milestones and reporting
For the role you should have:
- Strong experience leading data workstreams or enterprise data initiatives
- Solid understanding of both structured and unstructured data environments
- Experience supporting system implementations with clear data requirements
- Ability to operate in regulated or compliance‑driven settings
- Confident engaging across technical and operational stakeholders
- Exposure to LIMS, laboratory environments or digital product development would be a huge benefit in this role.
