Our client is recognised by the legal 500 and is ranked in the 2023 UK Edition for Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. They are looking to recruit a Paralegal to work within the Credit Hire team.
This role is offered on a permanent basis, working 9-5, Monday to Friday in their Newcastle office, with hybrid working available.
This role would suit someone who is a Law graduate or has previous experience of working within a Credit Hire team.
About the role:
- Support solicitors and fee earners in handling and preparing cases.
- Perform admin and clerical tasks as required, as well as perform legal research.
- Undertake initial reviews of records to help conduct investigations into potential cases.
- Preliminary analysis, research, and investigation of cases.
- Prepare and review title packs.
- Liaise with clients, other solicitors and third parties.
About you:
- Law Graduate or previous experience within Credit Hire
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and good at dealing with electronic case management and filing systems.
- Good time management skills, and happy to work to strict timelines, and able to work to deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of how important discretion is when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.
- Value good client care and maintaining client relationships.
