The Opportunity
We’re looking for a driven, client-focused Account Executive / Client Director to join a high-performing Employee Benefits team, helping to expand their footprint across the West Midlands, Manchester, and the wider UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, entrepreneurial professional who thrives on relationship building, business development, and delivering exceptional client service. You’ll have access to a large existing network and a ready-made pipeline of SME and corporate clients to engage with.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cross-selling within an extensive client base.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and partner brokerages.
- Provide expert, strategic advice on Employee Benefits solutions, ensuring tailored support for each client.
- Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with regional partners, combining home working with visits to partner offices across the UK.
About You
- Proven experience in Employee Benefits, Group Risk, or Health Insurance.
- Strong track record in new business development and client retention.
- Confident, credible communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and commercially focused, with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude.
- Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- IT proficient – familiarity with insurer portals and Acturis (advantageous).
