As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and strengthening client relationships. Focused on both new business acquisition and client retention, you will actively seek out and identify fresh opportunities, while ensuring existing clients’ evolving needs are met with expert insurance solutions. You will work closely with clients to provide tailored advice, manage policy renewals, and navigate the complexities of the insurance market. This is a proactive, results-driven role that requires a mix of new business development, strong client service, and in-depth industry knowledge. - Proven experience as an Account Executive within the insurance sector, with a focus on commercial insurance and new business development.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, markets, and underwriting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business through networking, referrals, and proactive sales efforts.
- Experience in managing client portfolios, understanding their evolving needs, and ensuring long-term client retention.
- Proficiency in using insurance platforms and client management systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance regulations, including FCA regulations and Consumer Duty obligations.
- CII / ACII qualification or willingness to work towards it, with business support.
- Experience using Acturis or similar systems for policy management, client communication, and report generation.
