- Comprehensive understanding of the employee benefits market, including Private Medical Insurance, Group Risk, and Business Protection
- Familiarity with insurance market practices, key providers, and their products
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements under the FCA
- Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office, insurer portals, broker systems, and accounts/credit control functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet team and business needs
- Problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills
- Resilience and initiative under pressure
Desirable:
- Experience working with both SME and larger corporate clients
- Knowledge of Acturis administration systems
- Previous experience in broking or client advisory roles within Employee Benefits
