We are looking for an experienced, proactive and dynamic Practice Support Executive to join our fast-paced Disputes team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing immediate support to multiple partners and possess the initiative to take the lead and manage tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive business and administrative support, including managing complex diary arrangements and tracking action lists; coordinate client meetings, arrange catering as needed, and support the organisation of conferences, speaker events, interviews, and client training sessions.
  • Maintain calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs.
  • Coordinate complex travel itineraries involving multiple destinations per trip, often with short-notice changes or additions. Frequently arrange travel for multiple travellers on the same itinerary.
  • Act as a liaison between Fee Earners and clients, facilitating smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests.
  • Manage matter lifecycle responsibilities from start to finish, including opening matters, ensuring correct billing and client terms inputted and drafting Engagement Letters (InTapp or equivalent).
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing & Business Development and the Team Support Manager to support client events, manage mailing lists, maintain accurate client information in InterAction, and update relevant trackers; coordinate ticket bookings for events both locally and internationally.
  • Extensive involvement in billing processes, including attending weekly WIP meetings to take notes and manage action points; maintain awareness of monthly billing activity, assisting with monthly reporting to clients and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Support Resource Management with EPOCH related tasks.
  • Assist with the preparation of internal and external presentations.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to team needs, demonstrating strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues across departments, including Billing, MBD, Travel, Document Production, PSAs, Resource Managers.
Dispute focused PSE tasks
  • Proven experience in preparing court documents, including the creation and organisation of both physical and electronic bundles (using BundleDocs or equivalent), with attention to pagination and bookmarking.
  • Proficient in legal technology platforms such as iManage Share, BundleDocs, DocuSign, PDF software or equivalent, particularly in the context of trial preparation.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience of supporting fee earners in secretarial/PSE positions in legal environments.
  • Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exemplary planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload, and plan ahead.
  • High level of verbal and written communications skills, and ability to deal with people at all levels within the organisation.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • Solutions-oriented and client service focused.
  • Self-starter, confident and not easily flustered.
