We\’re Norton Rose Fulbright – a global law firm with over 50 offices and 7,000 employees worldwide. We provide the world’s preeminent corporations and financial institutions with a full business law service. At Norton Rose Fulbright, our strategy and our culture are closely entwined. We know that our expansion will mean little unless it is underpinned by truly global collaboration and we understand that pioneering work only takes place when our people have room to move and think beyond boundaries. As well as the relevant skills and experience, we\’re looking for people who are innovative, commercial and value the work that they do.
We are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing team in London .
The Role
This is a new role, with plenty of scope to make an impression. We’re looking for someone with the right mix of creativity, strategy and vision to drive forwards our strategic, data-led approach to our marketing and business development.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for maintaining and leveraging our digital marketing stack including (but not exclusively) the website and email marketing. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and will work closely with our content team to ensure our content is optimised, using an integrated multi-channel marketing approach, tracking the data and developing a “best in class” digital-first approach to drive brand awareness, engagement and client acquisition.
This role will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager based in London, as part of a team which also includes two digital marketing executives based in Newcastle. Other key stakeholders include the Senior Marketing Manager, the wider EMEA MBD team and the global digital marketing team, as well as partners and associates within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of new website: working with colleagues around the world, advise on best practice, design and user experience, content/SEO strategy, analytics and email marketing/CRM integration.
- Blogs, podcasts & webinars: advise on EMEA’s blog, podcast and webinar strategy, including acquisition, user experience, analytics and lead generation. There will be particular emphasis on Regulation Tomorrow & Inside Disputes.
- SEO and SEM: Implement and manage SEO and SEM strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic and conversion of high-quality leads.
- Microsite design & build: Design and build engaging microsites that generate high performance outcomes with tools like Ceros and Foleon.
- Email marketing: Advise our email marketing delivery team on creating engaging email campaigns that deliver results along high standards of best practice and compliance.
- CRM: work with our CRM system and team to analyse digital marketing performance, segment and analyse our audience and ensure seamless integration with relevant platforms.
- Data & analytics: Capture and analyse key performance data (KPIs and ROI) to identify trends and insights which can be used to optimise our marketing and business development.
- Conversion and lead tracking: Work with our Business Development and Client teams to ensure that our digital marketing activity is generating business leads and are followed-up.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including practice groups, business development teams, and IT, to align digital marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Future-focused: Keep abreast of emerging technology and market developments and advise stakeholders on risks and opportunities.
- Work with BD and client teams to ensure that marketing activity is satisfying client business objectives and generating leads.
Skills and Experience Required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz), email marketing software (e.g., Vuture, Mailchimp), data and automation tools (e.g. Looker Studio, Microsoft Power Platform).
- Analytical skills: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Email marketing: strong background in creating engaging email marketing campaigns that make full use of automation and personalisation. Ideally a good knowledge of our current platforms (MailChimp and Vuture) – along with other options on the market.
- Campaign management: Proven track record of delivering successful digital campaigns through a multi-channel approach.
- Stakeholder management: Natural influencing skills, with an ability to work successfully with both junior and senior people.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content and effectively present ideas to stakeholders.
- Project management: Highly effective organisational skills; capable of prioritising workloads, managing multiple projects and negotiating deadlines.
- Team player: A strong collaborator, bringing people together across offices and functions to work effectively in virtual teams.
