Our client is a leading distributor business based in Deeside.
They are looking for a Facilities Technician to work within a team to carry out maintenance activities for the upkeep of machinery, equipment, FLT's and buildings.
Key duties
- Follow maintenance schedules as outlined and make repairs and adjustments
- Troubleshoot by consulting blueprints, schematics, and other sources as necessary
- Respond to company's maintenance emergency needs and emergency calls for maintenance
- Reduce/minimize machine downtime to achieve performance measures
- Perform troubleshooting to solve minor repair issues
- Report breakdowns for FLT fleet, including the new VOR process, liaise with Jungheinrich to ensure all servicing is carried out as per service schedule.
- Maintain key records for site compliance such as Waste consignment notes.
- Carry out Racking inspections as per SESS training. xgikmsk
- Core Competencies
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures, and the ability to troubleshoot
- Ideally experience working with Conveyor Belts, PLC's and Hydraulic and Pneumatics is an advantage however this is not essential
- Ability to lift heavy loads, physical agility, manual dexterity,
- Experience in maintenance is required,
- A mechanical qualification is preferred
Whilst training you will work a day shift, this will then move to a 6am - 2.30pm - 2pm - 10.30pm 1 week on/off rota.
