Our client is a leading distributor business based in Deeside. They are looking for a Facilities Technician to work within a team to carry out maintenance activities for the upkeep of buildings, equipment and vehicles.
Key Duties
- Follow maintenance schedules as outlined and make repairs and adjustments.
- Troubleshoot by consulting blueprints, schematics, and other sources as necessary.
- Respond to company's maintenance emergency needs and emergency calls for maintenance.
- Reduce/minimise machine downtime to achieve performance measures.
- Perform troubleshooting to solve minor repair issues.
- Report breakdowns for FLT fleet, including the new VOR process, liaise with Jungheinrich to ensure all servicing is carried out as per service schedule.
- Maintain key records for site compliance such as Waste consignment notes.
- Carry out Racking inspections as per SESS training.
Core Competencies
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures, and the ability to troubleshoot.
- Ideally experience working with Conveyor Belts, PLC's and Hydraulic and Pneumatics is an advantage however this is not essential.
- Ability to lift heavy loads, physical agility, manual dexterity.
- Experience in maintenance is required.
- A mechanical engineering qualification is preferred.
Whilst training you will work a day shift, this will then move to a 6am - 2.30pm - 2pm - 10.30pm 1 week on/off rota.
