Management Accountant

We are recruiting for are a leading workwear clothing brand operating in the B2B market who have a great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant.

Duties:

* Supporting in the preparation of the monthly accounts.

* Preparation of board reports and analysis to the monthly management accounts

* Supporting balance sheet reconciliations

* Monthly accounting reconciliations – control accounts/ intercompany accounts

* Analysing variances and working with budget holders to take mitigating action as necessary

* Tax compliance:

* Ensure compliance with local/ European market, requirements, regulations and tax issues

* Build and maintain relationships with bank, auditors, tax advisors and HMRC

* Assist with the delivery and implementation of costs effective and efficient accounting and financial systems, policies and processes that meet the current and future business requirements of the business

Qualifications / Experience required:

* A recognised professional accounting qualification (either ACA, ACCA or ACMA) is preferred

* At least 3-5 years in a Management Accounting role

* High attention to detail

* Strong I.T. skills, in particular knowledge of the operation and administration of accounting systems

Hours – Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5pm and Fridays 8.30am – 2.30pm

Holidays start on 23 days + your birthday off as extra (rising to 25 days)
