NQC is a successful and growing software company specialising in supply chain risk management platforms. We're in the ‘Tech for Good' space, providing online web platforms which are in use by some of the largest organisations across a number of industries including the UK Government and the Automotive industry. Based in central Manchester, NQC offers a supportive working atmosphere within a diverse team of people. The Environmental Analyst will be a cornerstone of our Sustainability and Trade Compliance team, driving the development of NQC's industry-leading supply chain due diligence products. You will bridge the gap between complex international environmental legislation and actionable supply chain data, helping our private-sector clients identify risks and improve their global environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Intelligence: Researching international legislation and converting complex environmental policy into strategic outcomes and assessment platform content.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analysing sustainability data to create campaign reports that identify geopolitical, legislative, and industry trends.
  • Product Development: Maintaining and updating platform content to ensure it reflects the latest advancements in global strategy and best practices.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Acting as an internal and external spokesperson for environmental topics, ensuring industry standards are embedded into all materials.
  • Staff Development: Delivering training and briefings to NQC staff to ensure company-wide alignment on environmental regulations.
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Specialised knowledge of key environmental regulations, including EUDR, EUBR, and CBAM.
  • Proven experience working in environmental supply chain due diligence.
  • Strong research and data analysis skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise briefings for various audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise activities to maximize performance while working both independently and collaboratively.
  • A genuine passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change in global supply chains.
