We're in the ‘Tech for Good' space, providing online web platforms which are in use by some of the largest organisations across a number of industries including the UK Government and the Automotive industry. The Environmental Analyst will be a cornerstone of our Sustainability and Trade Compliance team, driving the development of NQC's industry-leading supply chain due diligence products. You will bridge the gap between complex international environmental legislation and actionable supply chain data, helping our private-sector clients identify risks and improve their global environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities- Regulatory Intelligence: Researching international legislation and converting complex environmental policy into strategic outcomes and assessment platform content.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analysing sustainability data to create campaign reports that identify geopolitical, legislative, and industry trends.
- Product Development: Maintaining and updating platform content to ensure it reflects the latest advancements in global strategy and best practices.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Acting as an internal and external spokesperson for environmental topics, ensuring industry standards are embedded into all materials.
- Staff Development: Delivering training and briefings to NQC staff to ensure company-wide alignment on environmental regulations.
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Specialised knowledge of key environmental regulations, including EUDR, EUBR, and CBAM.
- Proven experience working in environmental supply chain due diligence.
- Strong research and data analysis skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise briefings for various audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise activities to maximize performance while working both independently and collaboratively.
