NQC is a successful and growing software company specialising in supply chain risk management platforms. We’re in the ‘Tech for Good’ space, providing online web platforms which are in use by some of the largest organisations across a number of industries including the UK Government and the Automotive industry.

About Your New Role

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team on a permanent basis. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Growth by identifying new sales opportunities and helping to build a strong pipeline of potential clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly driven individual looking to advance their career in sales within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Researching and identifying potential new clients, industries, and key decision-makers to support pipeline generation.
  • Proactively reaching out to prospects via phone, email, and social media to schedule discovery calls and meetings.
  • Supporting the Head of Growth and Chief Commercial Officer in their efforts to build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Working toward achievable targets for lead generation.
  • Assisting in the preparation of materials for product demonstrations and client presentations.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in sales or business development, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate our value proposition clearly and concisely.
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow in a sales career.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and resilient in the face of challenges.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Desirable: Alongside fluent English, the ability to speak one or more of our supported languages fluently - German, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese or French.
