Overview: I am an elderly disabled man living in the Glynneath area. I am an easy-going individual. I like TV and my computer. I am unable to maintain my body temperature and therefore need to be kept warm and I use a coal fire to do this.
Purpose:
- Prepare breakfast and main meal.
- Prepare hot and cold drinks for the day.
- Occasionally, put shovel of coal on fire and vacuum any coal dust.
- Empty catheter bag if needed.
- Clean bedroom and change bed sheets when required.
- Clean bathroom.
- Hoover through.
- Support with transfers and elevating my legs if required.
Person Type:
- A person who would be able to provide me with continuity.
- Reliable.
- Hard working.
- Trustworthy.
- Can support me with daily living tasks.
Hours: 14 hours over 7 days. Mon to Sun - 2 hours per day from 10:00 to 11:00 and 14:00 to 15:00 (there is flexibility of 20 mins with the PM call). Some flexibility will be required as you may be asked to cover from time to time.

Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement. You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences. You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
